Our Journey
35+ years of celebration, culture and community
2024
· Fifteen Years Strong ● Active
What started with one lamp has become a family of over five hundred members, still gathering, still celebrating, still showing up for each other.
2020
· Standing Together Through Hard Times ● Active
Even in the most uncertain of years, our community found ways to celebrate safely and take care of one another.
2016
· A Family of Hundreds ● Active
Membership crossed one hundred families, and our Ganesh Utsav pandal had to expand just to fit everyone who wanted to take part.
2012
· Growing Beyond One Festival ● Active
Dahi Handi joined our calendar, and for the first time our celebrations began attracting families from beyond our immediate neighborhood.
2009
· The First Diya ● Active
A handful of neighbors in Mankhurd organized a modest Ganesh Chaturthi celebration, never imagining it would become an annual tradition.
